Melaniece is looking forward to spending a nice quiet holiday at her vacation home up in the mountains. Expecting to enjoy ripping open gifts with her family, she’s surprised when they spring the ultimate present on her: Michael Bannon. Could his unexpected appearance have anything to do with the strange vampire dreams she’s been having lately?
Michael is determined not to blow a second chance with the woman he should have loved years ago, even if it means revealing his true nature. Is a good guy willing to be very bad to get what he wants? Hell, yes…including drive Melaniece out of her mind. Over and over again.
5 Angels from Fallen Angel Reviews
GIFT WRAP OPTIONAL is the very erotic story of a woman coming to grips with heartbreak from eight years ago. The pain is still fresh in her mind, but her body overrules her good sense as Mel is swamped with desire for Michael. This was some extremely hot erotica, but the story it was wrapped in was excellent, as well. Mel is not your typical lead character, but her personality sparkles and she proves that sexy stories aren’t just for perfect twenty year-olds. The interracial aspect of this tale will be another turn on for readers, as will the smoking, sizzling bedroom (and every other room) scenes. TJ MICHAELS knows how to write plot and passion in a most memorable way! Five Angels for GIFT WRAP OPTIONAL.

5 Kisses from the Romance Divas
GIFT WRAP OPTIONAL is a fast paced, engaging story that you will want to read all the way through without any interruption. The plot was surprisingly well developed and worked well within the limited space that a short story allows. GIFT WRAP OPTIONAL is a highly erotic, touching and sexy novella that will have you reaching for a tall, cold glass of water and a fan.

4.5 Hearts from The Romance Studio
This book is a must read! TJ MICHAELS gives a new twist on the vampire legend and offers very convincing characters. The relationship between Melaniece and her two children is a nice thread throughout the story. You feel the love and respect they all have for one another. Michael and Melaniece’s situation is addressed very thoughtfully. The erotic scenes are hot and complement the overall tale. The theme of second chances at love are woven into the storyline and result in a wonderfully happy read. Michael vampirism is brought in with the right amount of believability to enhance the story. I loved reading this story and hope TJ MICHAELS comes up with more characters like this!

Wrapping both arms around her warm body, he went in for the steal. A kiss so blatantly hot and consuming it shook him down to the root of his soul. The second their mouths met he felt a fusion, a connection so profound there were no words to describe it. He felt a rumble begin in his chest and rise up to a low hum as he deepened the kiss, pressing through the seam of her lips to taste her sweetness. Mmmm, coffee and cream from a woman whose silky brown skin resembled what she tasted like. God, he had to have more. And she was willing to give it, to open to him, to let him take what he wanted. Yes, this was more than just a kiss. This felt more like…a gifting.
All on their own, his fingers found their way up to her naturally wavy hair to tangle there. When she moaned sensuously at the soft pressure on her scalp something anciently primal threatened to break forth. His gums tingled sharply.
Now her arms twined around his neck, pulling, seeking. Her lips and tongue dueled, seeking, wanting. Then the taut nipples of her lush, full breasts stabbed into his bare chest through her thin, silk lounge shirt. Lust and longing replaced the blood in his veins and pumped through his body with every beat of his heart…
She broke the kiss on a whisper.
“Michael.” A small but strong hand slipped to his nape to pull him toward her neck as she tilted her head on a pleading gasp.
“Mmm, lick me. Bite me.” Oh god, did the woman know what she was asking for? The incisors he kept hidden from the world threatened to slip free.
